Physical/Mental Health Education

Most people today would agree that health is not a one-dimensional experience. Commonly accepted definitions of health, such as that put forward by the World Health Organization, incorporate physical, mental and social aspects of health. It follows that being healthy does not just mean being physically fit. Being of sound mind is also important, as is social wellness or the ability to form and maintain a network of friends and associates.

It is a shocking fact that people with severe mental illness die 10 years younger than other people because of poor physical health. This can change – if patients take effective action in time. In GHC, our experienced psychologists, psychiatrist and physicians are able to help you understand your physical and mental health status as well as how to make it better. Both one-on-one counseling and group class are accepted.
